Mobile App Developer

This position requires an enthusiastic, creative and detail-oriented individual who has the proven skillset to design and build workable mobile applications.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in Objective-C, Java, and PHP. Other web scripting languages is a plus.

The ideal candidate will also provide an example of a designed and published mobile application to demonstrate their skillset. This will include a description of the functions, logic, and systematic approach that was applied when created and designed.

The ideal candidate must also be able to work both independently and collaboratively in a team in order to meet aggressive deadlines.

• Translate ideas and content into functional and visually appealing mobile applications.
• Designing dynamic mobile applications ensuring they are easy to use and visually effective.
• Developing and maintaining API endpoints for all applications to interface with specified websites.
• Writing with Objective-C and Java with consideration of the primary platform being iOS devices with some focus on Android and Windows 7 phones.

Compensation

Commensurate with experience; progressive growth opportunities.

Hours Per Week

Full Time Salary Position, Typical work week is 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday with some off-hours work as needed

Requirements

2+ years' experience with Objective-C, Java, and PHP is a must. Experience with .NET is a plus. Must be Internet-savvy, analytical and results oriented professional willing to shift priorities and manage multiple priorities. Associates or Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Application Developer, or equivalent or 4+ years of working experience with published mobile applications in their portfolio.
