Internal and External Article Review Management - This is a daily if not hourly monitoring of article review speed and finding ways to improve what we offer. If internal review speed is not being met, then implement changes by offering suggestions of what needs to change. Understanding what articles affects review times is critical here.

You will also be providing a weekly handout to the editors that gives them their QC results and editorial goals for the week prior. You will continue to add on to this report to them every week so they can see where they were and how they are doing on average.
Set and Manage Monthly Goal - You will need to ensure that each editor contributes to the monthly goal and your daily editor goals will need to have this goal in mind. It is your responsibility as well as the Editor's to make sure their daily/monthly numbers are being met.
3 Month Projection Stats - You will need to develop projections for the next 3 months and offer Manager a report on those projections. In these you will include what the monthly goals are and what each editor will be doing these months. Things to keep in mind when doing this: Time off, new hires, and job changes.
Develop an Information Channel - New information or process changes need to be delivered properly so everyone is made aware. Editors also need a system of who to contact when they have questions.
