Web/Graphic Designer

This position requires an enthusiastic, creative and detail-oriented individual who will be able to work with and coordinate with a team of developers, graphic artists, and administrators to create and maintain dynamic, design driven websites and admin tools.

The ideal candidate will be proficient CSS, HTML and Javascript and have a strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, Photoshop and Illustrator, in addition to being able to work both independently and collaboratively in a team in order to meet aggressive deadlines.

• Translate content into a functional website.
• Designing website and ensuring they are easy to access and visually effective.
• Determining all necessary coding requirements for the site creation or redesign, including forms, e-commerce capability and specialized scripts.
• Writing web pages with CSS, HTML, AJAX, Javascript, Photoshop, & Illustrator.
• Making changes to existing websites and updating current information on web pages as directed.

Compensation

Commensurate with experience; progressive growth opportunities.

Hours Per Week

Full Time Salary Position, Typical work week is 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday with some off-hours work as needed

Requirements

2+ years' experience building and maintaining web pages with CSS, HTML and Javascript. Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, PHP, MySQL, AJAX, XML, RSS, Linux, Apache Web Server a plus.
Must be Internet-savvy, analytical and results oriented professional willing to shift priorities and manage multiple priorities.
Associates or Bachelor Degree in Web/Digital/Graphic Design or 4+ years of working experience with web design and scripting.
